My current mani!

My first of these kind of posts, and to be honest it's not that great =D it's nothing fancy, just a mish mash of colours. I couldn't decide what polish to use from my recent hauls, so I opted for five different ones, the ones I really really loved. I'd love to try a water marble with these; I've attempted water marble's before and it's never turned out great, but I'm gonna try again with these colours and see if I can get it to work.

China Glaze Electropop swatches!

So today I have some CG Electropop polishes to show you! I don't have the entire collection, and one polish is missing but will be sent out next week. I may pick up one or two more when I get the chance. The polishes I have to show you are Kinetic Candy, Aquadelic, Dance Baby, Gaga for Green and Techno. The polish I have missing is Electric Beat.

China Glaze Sugar High swatches

I think this may be one of the most amazing pinks I own! I'm unsure if this is a standard permanant polish or whether it was part of a collection, but I picked it up with my recent China Glaze haul.

OPI Gargantuan Grape swatches

This polish has been around for a while I think but it's brand new to me! I picked this up because it's unlike any other green that I have.

Butter London Spring/Summer 2012 swatches!

Hello! =D So today I recieved a little box containing three of the new Butter London Spring/Summer polishes. Again, I don't have all of them, just the ones that appealed to me the most - Knackered, Slapper and Trout Pout.

Nicole by OPI It's All About Glam Kardashian Kolor swatches

This is my first Nicole by OPI polish and I never thought it'd be a Kardashian one... Not quite sure what made me pick this up to be honest, I think I was just curious.

OPI Holland Collection swatches!

So here I have three of OPI's Holland collection to show you. I didn't pick up the entire collection as frankly I don't have the cash to do so, and most of the colours just didn't appeal to me, though looking at it now there may be one or two extra polishes I do pick up. The polishes I do have to show you are Thanks A Windmillion, I Don't Give A Rotterdam and Dutch'ya Just Love OPI?

Nails Inc A Listers Collection swatches

This is the last of the Nails Inc posts, until I place another order that is :D

This is the A Listers collection; 4 pretty neutral polishes, but by no means ordinary! This set includes Ledbury Road, Lower Sloane Street, Covent Garden Ballet and Mayfair.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj Lipstick!

I love MAC's Viva Glam campaign. I love that every single penny goes towards helping women with HIV. And I seriously freaking love this lipstick.

This years Viva Glam campaign features Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin. Nicki has her own lipstick and Ricky has a lip conditioner. I'll be picking up the LC at some point, as I do love the product (well, I think I love the taste more) and it's for a great cause. So, onto Nicki's lippy!!!

Nails Inc Mini set swatches!

Ok, so these polishes are mini's; they're one of the free sets Nails Inc are currently offering. I think you have to spend £35 on two or more full priced products to be eligible for a free mini set. Something like that anyways :D The sets don't have names, so we'll go by individual polish names. Included in this set are: Eden Grove, Walton Place, Elizabeth Street, Ebury Bridge and Kew Bridge. Firstly, I freaking love anything mini, they're so cute! Each mini contains 4ml, and there are 5 mini's, so essentially you're getting two full sized polishes...for free!

Boots No7 Totally Teal and Vivid Violet swatches!

I picked these polishes up from my local Boots chemist whilst grabbing plasters and antiseptic wipes for a decent sized cut on my thumb I got from "overexcitedly" hacking into a Nails Inc parcel with a carving knife. A lesson to be learned there I think! =D

Nail Polish Tag!

I've been scouting a few other blogs and I came across this. The blogger who posted this (CamiGMakeup4U2C) tagged everyone, so I guess that includes me :D

17 Orange Soda Swatches

To break up all the Nails Inc love haha... This is Orange Soda from 17. 17 is a cosmetic brand available from Boots in the UK. This polish is a vibrant peach-orange-coral. Yeah! It's a milky peachy orange with just the tinyest hint of coral.

Nails Inc The Wyndham Swatches

The Wyndham is one of Nails Inc's new special effect polishes. Nails Inc call it an "overglaze"...It's pretty much a flakie. It flashes between blue and green, though I mostly picked up green in these swatches. The particles are kind of smaller than other flakies I've seen. It also doesn't seem to flash as much as other flakies, though that may be the colour I swatched it over, which is Baker Street. I'll reswatch tomorrow over black and white and try and find my macro attachment for some upclose pics...I have no freaking idea where it's gone! But for now, here is The Wyndham!

Nails Inc Baker Street Swatches!

Aaah, Baker Street. You know, the one Beyonce wore a few weeks ago after stepping out after the birth of her first daughter Blue Ivy; the one that everyone went mad for? Yes...that one. And I can totally see why there was so much hype!

Nails Inc Kensington Park Road and Portobello Swatches

Hello! Aah, two weeks without posting, shocking! Even more shocking that it's been two weeks without any new polish purchases...until now!

So today I recieved an order from Nails Inc, a good little haul. This is sort of part 1. The neons!

Bourjois swatches - Bleu Model, Lime Catwalk and Tangerine Fatal

Hello!!! So today I popped into town to get my hair done and figured I'd take a look in Superdrug. Scouted around and nothing was jumping at me. Walked over to the Bourjois display and saw 3 gorgeous polishes; Bleu Model, Lime Catwalk and Tangerine Fatal. Bleu Model reminded me a little of China Glaze Crushed Candy and Lime Catwalk reminded me of OPI Did It On 'Em. Tangerine Fatal? Well I'm a sucker for oranges and corals :P

Mini Haul!

So yesterday I popped into town and figured I'd take a look in Sally's. Now, I have no idea if the Sally's we have over here in the UK is the same Sally's that's in the US. I walked in, straight over to the nail bit and there sat huge displays of OPI and China Glaze. Safe to say I got a *bit* excited. Anyway, these are the polishes I picked up. Apologies for the state of my nails, I took my gels off last night and my natural nails are screwed to say the least. I also have bits of polish on my skin...these were quick swatches and there were some glitters involved that just wouldn't budge!

See my haul!

Review and swatches after the jump!

Monday, 6 February 2012

Hello!

So, after months of debating whether or not to set up my own blog about nail polish, I've cracked and decided to do it. It might take off, it might not, but it's something that's been on my mind for a while so why not give it a shot?
