Nails Inc Battersea Emerald Glitter Polish

3 in one day? Yeah, making up for months of nothing haha.

Battersea is a full coverage emerald green glitter - though it does have a blue undertone. For me, it's opaque in two coats and actually appears to look better without a top coat.

These pics are with one coat of Battersea over Queen Victoria Street

These pics are with two coats of Battersea on their own on my middle and ring fingers

Nails Inc Queen Victoria Street - Emerald Polish

Queen Victoria Street is a vibrant, rich medium green polish. It's opaque in two coats and flows over the nail beautifully. Cannot fault this at all - plus, emerald is the pantone colour of the year, yay!

Note: I have tried several different camera's with this, and the colour is still coming out the same. It's pulling towards teal in photos, but in person it is absolutely a vibrant rich green with no touch of teal in sight. Very frustrating!

Nails Inc Spring/Summer Trend Shade Swatches - Kensington Palace Gardens, Royal Botanical Gardens and Chelsea Physic Garden

Well...after a massive hiatus, dealing with personal issues and illnesses...I'm back! I've actually really, really missed blogging, so hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things again. Thanks to my amazing boyfriend I have a new camera, which I'm still getting used to. Gonna have to break out the manual at some point. Anyway, less details, more polish!

Today I have three of the four spring/summer trend shades Nails Inc recently released. There is another, St James Park which is a hot pink, but I figured I probably had enough of those to avoid picking it up. What I do have, however, is Kensington Palace Gardens (salmon pink), Royal Botanical Gardens (mint) and Chelsea Physic Garden (pastel blue).

Kensington Palace Gardens is a light, creamy coral pink. It's mostly opaque at two coats, but I felt it was the slightest bit uneven, so ended up going for three. Initially, it reminded me a lot of Butter London's Trout Pout, so I did a comparison, and Trout Pout is a touch darker, perhaps a little more pink too. If you're a sucker for coral's you will love this!

Royal Botanical Gardens is a light, creamy mint, but it does have a definite blue tone to it. Two coats for this one and no issues with application.

Chelsea Physic Garden is a light, creamy blue. Again two coats, and no issues!

There. My first post in god knows how long. That actually felt pretty good!!

Smooch Nail Polish - Gothic Moment and Car Key

Normal posting shall now resume :D

Today I have two Smooch polishes to show you - this brand is totally new to me and I'd never heard of them until they popped up on NailPolishDirect. They seem to be a cheap brand - their polishes are £2.95 and they are full sized 15mls. Can't really get much better than that surely? I actually quite like the bottle too, simple, but there's a nice little pattern going around the cap!

Gothic Moment is a semi-sheer black with a ton of silver sparkle. It's opaque in two coats. Somewhat of a rough texture and a little dull when dry, nothing a topcoat can't sort out though.

Car Key (oh, dear...) is a light, dusty khaki green and is amazingly opaque in just one coat! The brush seemed to hold a lot of product so there could be issue's with pooling. Overall though, the formula of these polishes are fab.

Seriously can't go wrong with these for £2.95.

Nails Inc Swiss Cottage Mirror Metallics swatches

Swiss Cottage is a green/teal/blue duochrome (triochrome?) metallic. This is extremely pretty. Easily one of my favourite polishes I own. It's green in direct light, but around the edges of the nail and in the shade it's blue. When I saw this I thought "Hmm, OPI Just Spotted The Lizard dupe perhaps?" and thankfully, it's not. JSTL is waaaaay more gold, this is simply green and blue. It's opaque in two, and whilst there are visible brush strokes they don't seem that bad. They certainly don't stop me wearing it! Application was pretty much flawless!

Apparantly there are four of these polishes in total, the two here and two more called "Stratford" and "Primrose Park". They aren't available on the Nails Inc website or ASOS, but they are available on the US Sephora site, nothing on the French site unfortunately.

Illamasqua Stance and Nomad Nail Polishes

Originally I didn't intend on picking these polishes up. I thought they were colours I'd seen enough of already this season. As it turns out, I'm an idiot!

A very blurry Stance!

Nails Inc The Donmar Special Effects polish swatches

Evening!!! Today I had two Nails Inc packages arrive :D I'm splitting the polishes into different posts since I seem to have a habit of posting 20 thousand photos of the same polish haha. We're starting with The Donmar, which is an overglaze...a flakie really!

China Glaze Cling On Magnetix Swatches

Hello again :D today I have CG's Cling On, one of their new magnetic polishes. I only picked this one up as it seemed at first glance this was the only one I wouldn't have a dupe for. I also got the magnet.
