Azature Green Diamond polish swatches

Men; keep your dogs. I'm quite happy with diamonds. Even better if those diamonds are in bottles of nail polish. And better still, if that polish happens to be the most incredible emerald green I have ever seen.

I honestly expected Azature's black diamond polishes to be a bit of a gimmick, and for the single black diamond that's in them to be the main selling point. I've been proven wrong. Yes, at £17, they're steep, but my god, I've never come across polish like this. This just glows.

Barry M Lilac Foil/Barry M Lilac Chameleon comparison

A few days ago a follower contacted me and asked for a little help. She was after Barry M's Lilac Foil, but couldn't find it and wanted to know whether the Lilac Chameleon was a close match. Let's find out!

Azature Pink Diamond Nail Polish swatches

A few weeks ago I noticed Selfridges had started carrying more of the gorgeous Azature polishes. I plan on getting them all, bit by bit, but the first of the "coloured" ones I picked up was Pink Diamond!

Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish swatches

A few months ago I read a blog post about Azature's $250,000/£160,000 bottle of nail polish containing 267 carats of black diamonds. Of course, I certainly can't afford that (believe me, if I was loaded enough I'd definitely have it) but I did cave and buy the cheaper version which contains a single black diamond.

Nails Inc Feather Effect polishes

It's a surprisingly sunny Sunday afternoon! After all the rain and snow we've seen the past month it's almost a shock.  Anyway...polish...yes. I bought these a week or so ago. I loved the look of them, they look so pretty in the bottle, but I'm not too sure what I think of them on the nail. Full coverage seems to be a proper pain in the arse with these. All swatches are shown with three coats, and even then there's some visible nail line. They can tend to get a little clumped up too. I love the idea of them, but getting them to work in a manicure is hard. Still, I'll definitely give these a whirl again in the future, I just think I'll have to be more patient, and do little iddy biddy layers. Or just layer them over other polishes. If you don't like texture on your nails add top coat, but I think they look better without it.

There are actually four feather effects (feathers being matte glitter strands) Chester, York, Edinburgh and Cornwall. When I purchased these from the Nails Inc site I didn't see Cornwall listed. It popped up a few days ago, but is out of stock. I'm actually pretty pissed about that, since Cornwall looks like it would be my favourite (it looks to be cobalt blue and light aqua "feathers"...nom!). Still...

Nails Inc Bling It On Leather - Shoreditch Lane - Red Leather swatches

Yay! More leather!

I've been loving these ever since the black and tan shades were released around mid December. I haven't come across anything similar from other brands yet - actually, if anyone knows of other "leather effect" polishes, please let me know!
